Island Park is definitely a favorite of Geneva residents. In addition to being one of the city’s most commonly used locations for community events, such as the Fox Valley Folk Music & Storytelling Festival and Shakespeare in the Park, the 11.5-acre park has lots of wide-open green space for running around, an elaborate children’s playground designed to resemble a treehouse and equipped with multiple slides, climbing options, and a mini zipline.

Plenty of trails for visitors to explore, which meander through the woods and along the Fox River, shaded benches, and the chance to take in lots of waterfowl in their natural habitat.
